Skaters doing some tricks for us one afternoon and evening at Lively Park. I didn't get their names but there is no denying their talent. Even their boards were posing for us.
Camping at Turner Falls with Mike and Chris, aggravated by the raccoons that kept sneaking around our site waiting to be bastards... I decided we should get them back somehow. Seeing as they make it a point to be furry ninjas, invading your space and then vanishing at will... I thought we should get some mug shots of these culprits. So we set small pieces of Honey Bun on the picnic table with the camera and 3 flashes on remotes, and sat down by our fire in the next camp site just 10 yards away. Waiting for them to come get their fix. Waiting for that moment when a simple push of a button would satisfy my hunger for revenge... They took our woppers straight out of my backpack. So needless to say, that revenge tasted good. I went back for seconds and thirds and now I'm sharing my meal with all of you... Enjoy!
Too much snow around your place??? Drink Rumplemintz and let momma nature keep it cold. Then build an igloo and play snow basketball... You will not regret it.
I know these hats are spinning on this machine for a very specific reason, and maybe I should have asked what that reason is... But I didn't. So to me, they are just spinning hats. If you know more about the subject, I would love to be enlightened.
Capital Hatters. A place that sells cowboy hats, boots, etc. James Burnette was nice enough to let us walk through the building, behind the scenes to shoot whatever we could.
Red Stripe Hat. The greatest hat of all time. I have had it and worn it for about 6 years now and apart from a few battle scars, it's still going strong.
This old, beat up cat lives under my mom's house. He's very cautious and doesn't let humans come too close to it but I lured him out with some cat food and snapped this picture as he came out.
Trevor 2 was driving us around when we randomly found his sister-in-law stuck in the snow. Quickly getting out of the vehicle and running towards the truck, I snapped pictures of the sunken tires while Mike shot pictures of me from out the window. Miraculously, Trevor 2 drives an H2 Hummer so we were able to pull her out and therefore saved the day.
The most random thing in the middle of Oklahoma's nowhere... This big, futuristic building is called "Pops" and it holds any and every different kind of soda you can think of. From all over the world. We couldn't figure out what the hell it was doing there... But the giant light bottle was a must-take.
A native of Guadalajara, Mexico. I came into the U.S. as a toddler and have been here ever since. Bouncing from city to city as a kid in Cali, I quickly learned that everything changes and people in this life will come and go. We all know that moving as a kid sucks, but a good core of real friends makes all the difference. I've been in Fort Worth for 15 years now and in the past 6, I've managed a fundraising office, acted in numerous plays throughout Ft. Worth, starred in an independent film, and most recently became a photographer. I do what I love and I love what I do. That's about it.
